PENELOPE CRUZ

Cruz looked simply elegant in a custom-made bustier black silk dress by Chanel.

The gown featured a pearl belt and white flower and bow on the neckline, which was inspired by the spring-summer 1995 Haute Couture collection. Cruz accessorized with diamond earrings and rings fromAtelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry along witha Chanel bag.

Cruz has previously been nominated for three Academy Awards, winning in 2009 in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

She looks absolutely stunning and it is hard to tell she is 45.

SAOIRSE RONAN

Ronan’s 2020 Academy Awards look had a subtle nod to sustainability.

Ronan wore a plunging gown with a black-and-white top and a periwinkle-colored skirt. The dress designed by Gucci featured a peplum detail at the waist.

The black fabric on Ronan’s dress was actually the same fabric that Gucci used for her gown at the BAFTAs the weekend before. It was a nod to sustainability

NATALIE PORTMAN

Portman’s dress called out The Academy for not nominating any women directors.

The actress wore Dior Haute Couture on The Oscars red carpet, with a cape that had embroidery of names of all the female directors who were snubbed of a nomination this year.

When she was asked about the attire on the carpet, Portman explained, “I wanted to recognize the women who were not recognized for their incredible work in my subtle way."

Julia Butters

Butters looked pretty in pink stealing the show.

The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood breakout star packed a turkey sandwich in her bag, winning the entire show.

The actress carried a turkey sandwich in her purse at The Oscars because “I don’t like most of the food they have here”. I like her style.
