Celebrating birthdays during the pandemic can be hard and a bit sad. However, don’t be fooled! Read alone for some fun and cool tips to keep a birthday celebration as fun as possible.

This past week, we celebrated my boyfriends birthday. We started the week picking up some pizza dough and some wine and making some homemade pizzas with his 2 best friends! Super fun activity that’s also super Covid safe!

Nutella stuffed cookies

Nutella stuffed chocolate chip cookies!

To keep the mood fun and the food yummy, I decided to bake some chocolate chip cookies...but not just any chocolate chip cookies, NUTELLA stuffed cookies. I used the tasty chocolate chip cookie recipe linked in the image. For the Nutella, I scooped small amounts onto a plate, and stuck that in the freezer to harden - this makes the stuffy way easier and way less messy. Once it was harden, I got my cookie dough, used an ice cream scooper for size efficiency, and would flatten out each ball, place the Nutella in the center then roll into a ball. They were SO GOOD and the perfect birthday treat.

And they work as a cake too!

Now watch this adorable birthday boy make his birthday wish!

You can throw a small, intimate surprise gathering with people in your Covid circle!

This allows the birthday to still feel special and fun, while also maintaining proper safety :)

Intimate dinner

Lastly, pick up your favorite food and end the birthday week off with your favorite meal and good conversation :)

My go to Jon and Vinny items:

  • Spicy fucili
  • White lightening pizza
  • Gem lettuce

I obviously love more things but this was the perfect amount for an intimate nice dinner!

And be sure to sing the special someone happy birthday right at midnight!
