What you will need:

2 cups granulated sugar

1 1/2 cups vegetable oil (I use coconut!)

2 teaspoons vanilla

3 eggs at room temp

3 cups all purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon cinnamon (I use a bit more!)

1 teaspoon salt

3 Granny Smith apples (peeled, cored, and chopped)

First things first

Tell echo to turn on some tunes. Baking should be fun!!! Remember that!

Then preheat your oven to 325 degrees.

Step 1

Combine your sugar, oil, vanilla, and eggs. Beat until light and fluffy. Preferred to use an electric mixer, unless you’re like me and want to get a good arm workout - beat by hand!!

Step 2

Peel your apples! Once peeled, chop into small squares.

If you are cool like me, you can even peel them all in one shot! 🤪

Step 3

Add in your dry ingredients and mix well. Once combined, fold in your apples and as an extra (not mandatory) step, squeeze in some apple sauce for that extra moisture. Who doesn’t love a moist cake?!

Step 4

Your cake batter should have a thick consistency like so!

Make sure to taste the raw batter just because. It’s yummy!

Then, pour the yummy goodness into a 9 inch greased Bundt pan. Forgot to get a pic, woops!

Step 5

After letting the beauty bake for 55-70 minutes in a 325 degree oven, take her out. Stick a toothpick in to make sure she’s cooked. Once fully cooked, allow to cool in Bundt pan for 20 minutes, then transfer onto a wire rack.

Sift over some powdered sugar before serving and enjoy!

Final step

Clean yo dishes!! No one likes a messy kitchen. Be responsible 🤪
