Skateboarding down with a view
The Culver City stairs with the dreamy sunset was always a bucket list location to skate. Loaded Longboards (LA based) filmed a lot of the videos that told me how to skate right on this hill.
Finally 5 years later Amelie, Corey and I drove up this iconic spot..
Downhill skateboarding is a very niche sport that’s done mostly by adrenaline junkies. With the gift of gravity we skate down roads and pathways. We have a lot more control than you might think. We stop by loosing traction of our wheels.
Wearing knee and hand protection to make it even safer. I will never go down a hill without a helmet. We can not stress enough how important that is.
The feeling of skateboarding down fast is the closest you will ever come to flying. Give it a try!
