<h2><strong>How to Differentiate Between a Real Skater and a Poser Skater</strong></h2>

<p><strong>Listen for basic skateboard terms and slang. </strong></p>
<p>Real skaters are going to talk about frontside and backside tricks. They are going to use basic skateboard terms like “pop” and “kickflip.” Listen for one of the most basic terms of all – ollie. An ollie is the backbone of every single trick that a skater does and the word comes up in skateboard conversations constantly.</p>
<p>•	Other basic skateboard terms to listen for: slappy, fakie, kickflip, vert, tweak, stall, shifty, kickturn and mob.[1]</p>
<p>•	You could try asking something like, "So, have you mastered a kickflip on a vert ramp yet?" or "Have you seen Robert do kickflips? He has huge pop."</p>
<p>•	Also listen to how they refer to the anatomy of their board. You should hear words like deck, nose, trucks, rail, grip tape and wheelbase.</p>
<p>•	Try asking, "So, do you hold your board by the trucks or deck? Do you think it matters?"</p>

<p><strong>Ask if they ride regular or goofy. </strong></p>
<p>This is a question any real skater can answer without hesitation, but a poser will probably look confused and/or not have an answer. The terms refer to your natural stance when you stand on a skateboard, and it’s one of the first things you must figure out as a skater.[2]</p>
<p>•	Say, "I strictly ride regular. Do you ride goofyfoot?"</p>
<p>•	Regular is the most common stance when riding a skateboard – with your left foot forward, towards the nose, and your right foot near the tail.</p>
<p>•	Goofy is the opposite of regular – your right foot is forward, near the nose, and your left foot is back near the tail.</p>

<p><strong>Question them about their board.</strong> </p>
<p>Ask them what brand it is, how long they’ve had it and what it looks like. These are simple questions, but a real skater knows their deck intimately and can answer any questions about it easily. Also try asking them if they use a complete (fully assembled) board or if they have any experience custom building skateboards.[3]</p>
<p>•	Ask questions like, "What material is your deck made out of?" and "Did you have to tighten or loosen your trucks when you got your board?" and "What kind of art do you have on your deck?"</p>
<p>•	Often, seasoned skateboarders will choose to assemble their own boards with custom parts so that it’s absolutely perfect for them.</p>
<p>•	Even if they’ve never done it, a real skater will be excited to talk about aspects of custom building a board.</p>

<p><strong>Ask who their favorite skaters and skate brands are.</strong> </p>
<p>Real skaters are going to have their favorite pro skaters, and they will know more pro names than just Tony Hawk, Bam, and Ryan Sheckler. Style is important in skateboard culture, so a real skater will have definite opinions on at least a few name brands. Even if it’s a negative opinion, it’s still knowledge.</p>
<p>•	When they tell you which pros and skate brands they like (or dislike), ask them why they feel that way.</p>
<p>•	A real skater can easily give you details at length about their opinions, likes and dislikes.</p>

<h1><strong>Observing Their Actions</strong></h1>

<p><strong>Watch how they carry their board.</strong> </p>
<p>Look for the "mall grab,” which is carrying the board by the trucks. The mall grab is generally considered to be a poser red flag.[4] If they hold their board at their side with the grip tape facing their body, they are probably a poser (or possibly a newbie). The correct way to hold a board is under your arm at the middle of the board, with the trucks facing out.[5]</p>
<p>•	There is a lot of controversy about whether or not the "mall grab" truly indicates you're a poser, since a lot of skaters these days hold their boards like that. The mall grab only indicates you're a poser when combined with a lot of the other red flags mentioned here.</p>
<p>•	Definitely inspect how they hold their board, but you also should see if they ever actually ride the board that they carry around with them.</p>
<p>•	Some posers will actually buy and carry a board around with them just to look cool, like a fashion accessory. That’s bad enough, but then they won’t even carry it correctly!</p>

<p><strong>Study what they do at the skate park.</strong> </p>
<p>Do they spend time actually riding their board at the skate park? Or do they show up, ride around once, then spend the rest of the time standing around, chatting, smoking cigarettes, texting and getting in the way of actual skaters? Classic poser moves.</p>
<p>•	Real skaters will spend most of their time skating and practicing tricks when they’re at the skate park.</p>
<p>•	Real skaters pay little to no attention to the social gathering going on around them at the skate park.</p>

<p><strong>Ask to see them land some tricks.</strong> </p>
<p>If you have the opportunity, ask them flat out to show you some tricks. A real skater won’t hesitate to show you their moves, even if they’re newbies. Newbies aren’t posers – everyone has to start somewhere and at least they’re out there skating.</p>
<p>•	You could say, "Hey Paul, show me your ollie!" or ask, "Can you show me your frontside and backside moves? I've been working on my frontside and wouldn't mind seeing how you do it."</p>
<p>•	Posers will use do everything they can to worm their way out of actually skating, since they don’t know how.</p>
<p>•	If they don't have a board on them when you ask, invite them to come skate with you at the park or even offer them your board.</p>
<h1><strong>Inspecting Their Appearance</strong>⬇️</h1>

<p><strong>Examine them for scrapes and bruises.</strong> </p>
<p>If you skate, you’re going to fall off your board and get scraped up. There’s no way around it. Even a seasoned skater falls off their board pretty frequently, because attempting a new trick involves a few falls before you land it.</p>
<p>•	Real skaters are always learning new tricks, and that means falling and getting a little banged up.</p>
<p>•	Real skaters learn how to fall “correctly” to minimize severe injuries, but the little scrapes and bruises are always going to happen.</p>

<p><strong>Inspect their board for wear and quality.</strong> </p>
<p>Posers often have no (or obviously fake) scratch marks on their boards, while a real skater will have scratch marks on the middle, nose, and tail of the board, depending on their style and tricks. A real skater’s board is going to show obvious wear and tear (unless it’s genuinely a brand new board).</p>
<p>•	Posers often purchase inexpensive, low quality boards from chain department stores like Walmart. These boards are terrible to ride - which doesn’t affect them, since they don’t ride anyway.</p>
<p>•	Real skaters save up for a good quality setup because they will actually use it. They need a strong board that rolls smooth and those aren’t cheap.</p>

<p><strong>Look for tattered shoes with flat soles and good grip.</strong> </p>
<p>Real skaters need flexible shoes with flat soles and lots of grip to keep them on their board while performing tricks. Their shoes never look shiny and new – if you really skate, your shoes are going to get frayed, ripped and beat up from actual use very quickly. Ollie holes (also known as ollie burns) are inevitable for anyone who actually skates.[9]</p>
<p>•	Unless they’re falling apart on their feet, chances are a real skater won’t care that their shoes are ragged. A poser, on the other hand, will buy new shoes very frequently.</p>
<p>•	Look for signs that they’ve distressed their shoes on purpose. Some posers want to look authentic so much that they’ll strategically damage their shoes.</p>
<p>•	This is usually pretty easy to spot because the body of the shoe will have rips and slashes but the actual material won’t be faded, beat up or frayed at all.</p>

<p><strong>Check out how much brand name gear they’re wearing.</strong> </p>
<p>If they are wearing head-to-toe skate brand names, that’s excessive and almost always the sign of a poser. Real skaters like brand names and brand gear, but they don't wear brand name clothing every day, and they certainly don’t wear it from head-to-toe to prove their authenticity.</p>

<h1><strong>A red pill for the soul</strong></h1>
<p>First I want to state that I am not an expert, I practice lucid dreaming out of fun and because there’s nothing quite like it. Gaining awareness in a dream is an exciting experience, most of the time it’s brief with the sudden rush of adrenaline waking you up. What if you can learn to lucid dream, stabilize the experience so you can take more of it in? What if there was nothing more than a few simple steps to master, no drugs needed? Would you want to learn?</p>

<h1><strong>Relax</strong></h1>
<p>The first step is to relax, quiet the mind, tame your anxiety and unfocus. You want to start by laying flat on your back, don’t tense up, relax. You will experience some interesting sensations and urges, mostly the urge to scratch, move, swallow spit, cross your legs and muscle spasms as your body relaxes. The solution is easy, ignore them all and stay relaxed, the swallowing spit part isn’t as easy but if you press your tongue gently onto the roof of your mouth it’ll fix this problem. If you can hear your heart beat turn your head slightly to the right and muffle your right ear, this works for me, maybe the left side works for you.</p>
<h1><strong>Ritual</strong></h1>
<p>Make lucid dreaming a ritual full of sleep triggers your mind will pick up on with practice, this will become an autopilot of some sorts later on, don’t skip it. For me it’s simple, I do all of the above. </p>
<h1><strong>Falling</strong></h1>
<p>This one is overlooked but beneficial, the sensation of falling while asleep and jolting you awake is a key training tool. This falling sensation happens with sleep paralysis, and that’s where the key to lucid dreaming and out of body experiences lie. For now let’s practice falling. Do the above steps to reach a point where your body tricks your mind into believeing you’re asleep, if you do those steps right you will have unfocused thoughts, muscle spasms and the feeling of a heavy weighted blanket being placed on you. The pressure of the weight feels uncomfortable, your breathing will be erratic and adrenaline will win. If you’re lucky you might black out for a second and have a really vivid/lucid experience. Stick to practicing this whatever time of the day you can except right before sleep.</p>
<h1><strong>Eyes</strong></h1>
<p>You need to train your eyes to focus behind your eyelids, it should be relaxed and of into the distance. This will strain your eyes, but like any other muscle, working them makes them stronger. Keep your eyes still and quiet in a relaxed position do not force them into any position, just adjust the focus. </p>

<p>BEACON, NY • LATE 2021 </p>
<h1>—</h1>
<h1>Beacon is a pretty walkable town. For most of my life, I haven’t had that.</h1>
<h2>I didn’t do the typical city thing after college. While most of my friends opted for foreign countries or various urban centers, I went to Poughkeepsie, New York. I lived in a development. It was technically possible to walk into the more interesting parts of the city, but it wasn’t all that fun. Who wants to walk along a busy road for thirty minutes just to get downtown?</h2>
<p>But I always appreciated walkable towns and cities, even though I didn’t live in one. Growing up, I did a lot of traveling with my family, and all we did was walk. When you’re in a foreign city and you don’t want to spend $200/day on taxis, that’s what you do.</p>
<p>And later, when I visited NYC, or any of the small towns scattered around the Hudson area, I’d spend most of my time wandering around, taking photos. Walking gives you a chance to look at things up close.</p>
<h1>—</h1>
<h1>Then there’s walking at night.</h1>
<h2>That wasn’t something I really did until I moved to Beacon. Up to that point, there had been nowhere to <em>go</em>.</h2>
<p>But the thing about living close to the center of a small mid-sized town is that there are always side streets, alleys, and other small routes trickling off to who knows where. I’ve walked five miles some nights with no clear destination in mind, just poking around.</p>
<h2>Other thing: I can <em>think</em> better at night. People are a distraction, filling spaces with noise and confusion. I can’t fully get to know a space until it’s quiet and empty.</h2>

<h2>Beacon is <em>weird, </em>in the way that hipsterish, gentrifying towns generally are: quirky, multilayered, and steeped in its own private jokes. That stuff gets buried under the people during the day; it’s at night when the character of the place really takes form.</h2>

<p>NIGHT WALK</p>
<h1>—</h1>
<h1>People express themselves in strange ways around here.</h1>
<h2>And new stuff gets added all the time. I’m pretty familiar with the stickers on my usual route, and I still find something I haven’t seen before every time I’m out.</h2>
<h2>Mention “local art gallery” and most people will think of Dia. I think the stickers that make up Beacon’s illicit, living wallpaper are the most interesting art around. </h2>

<h1>The street is the gallery.</h1>
<h2>And everyone lays claim to it: punk bands, activists, artists, random crazies, and—more and more—businesses.</h2>
<p>I have a theory that you can judge how interesting a place is by how many stickers are plastered to its signs, lights, electrical boxes. Boring places don’t have stickers. Cool places do.</p>

<h2>It’s easy to get the sense that no one sees this stuff: it’s so omnipresent, so obvious, as to be invisible. You walk down any street, day or night, and look around; I’ll be the only one snapping thirty photos of grungy stickers on an electrical box.</h2>
<h1><em>—</em></h1>
<h2>But people see enough.</h2>
<p>Not too long ago, a hate group I won’t name showed up in the Hudson Valley and plastered their stickers everywhere. I saw those stickers everywhere else—but, strangely enough, not in Beacon.</p>
<p>Turns out those guys did come to Beacon. Someone noticed the stickers; someone told someone else. They scoured the whole town within two hours and removed every one.</p>
<h2>Those guys never came back.</h2>
<h2>Little things matter.</h2>

<h1>Walk around long enough, and keep your eyes open, and you’ll start to see the same people over and over again.</h1>
<h2>Their names, at least. And in at least one notorious instance, sometimes their faces.</h2>

<p>THE CHAMP</p>
<h2>Vinny, patron saint of the Beacon sticker world; Shepard Fairey’s all-city spiritual successor; man-about-town.</h2>
<p>This guy is <em>everywhere</em>. I could easily devote an entire issue to him. He—and, probably, his fans—have plastered various permutations of his face on every piece of street furniture in Beacon. Everywhere you go, he’s staring back: the kind of omnipresence that makes Kim Il-Sung look modest.</p>
<p>Vinny is probably one of the most talented sticker guys out there. He’s always evolving; there are easily twenty different designs of his scattered around the Hudson Valley. </p>
<h1>—</h1>
<p>THE UPSTART</p>
<h2>Bronco Anarchy 99—he’s new here. Trying to make a name for himself, from the looks of it. His thing seems to be tags in white grease pencil.</h2>
<p>I ran into him one night while he was tagging the stop sign in front of my place. He was tall, good-looking, with long black hair and stubble. He was looping out his name in white grease pencil. He had a friend with him—a preppy-looking kid who dressed nice, had a fashionable haircut, and stood there, shifting awkwardly, waiting for him to finish. The kid looked at me uneasily as I went by, probably thinking I was going to call the cops. Anarchy didn’t even look up. </p>
<p>He’s improving. The tag I saw on that stop sign was barely readable, but the more recent ones have been more legible. Not particularly creative, though.</p>
<h1>—</h1>
<p>ALSO STARRING</p>
<h2>The more mysterious ones: SOH, Thundercloud Guy, B.F., and a host of others. What’s their deal? What drives them? Wish I knew.</h2>

<p>CAST &amp; CREW</p>
<h1>—</h1>
<h1>You know what—let’s talk a little more about Vinny.</h1>
<h2>First of all, his name really <em>is</em> Vinny: Vinny Raffa. He’s an electrician. </h2>
<p>Or, perhaps, a working man’s hero. As I said, he’s everywhere. I have a growing collection of Vinny photos, and I’m always adding to it. I’m pretty familiar with his style, but every now and then, Vinny surprises me.</p>
<p>A few nights ago, I found something special.</p>

<h2>11:37pm on a weekend night—I’m crouched in front of a lamppost behind the diner, taking shots of what appears to be Vinny’s most ambitious work yet. He’s moved on to posters, it seems, and they’re nice ones. I wonder how long he’s been doing this.</h2>
<h2>Abruptly, a car fixes me in its headlights and stops.</h2>
<p>I’m always aware that what I’m doing—displaying an unusual obsession with documenting vandalism—is an inherently suspicious activity. Cops might think I’m recording my own work; the people whose work it actually is might think I’m a cop. Municipal vandal squads often maintain vast databases of photos, so they can charge vandals with all the incidents they have evidence for. (Vinny, oddly enough, does not seem to be remotely concerned about this.) </p>
<h2>“Hey man!” the guy yells. “I was trying to give you some more light…”</h2>
<p>Now that was nice of him, wasn’t it? And it definitely helped. That’s the above photo. I never use flash—not unless I’m going for the crime-scene look—so I try to illuminate a lot of my night photos with the light from passing cars. It’s a kind of lighting that seems distinctly urban and in line with the<em> </em>aesthetic I’m going for: off-the-cuff, ephemeral, documentarian, and slightly eerie.</p>
<p><em>Beacon</em>, I think, getting back to work. I’m still in small-town Connecticut-suburb mode, where people live proper lives and try not to deviate too noticeably from the local norms. In some ways, Beacon is similar—upscale, not particularly diverse—but like I said:</p>
<p>Beacon is <em>weird</em>.</p>

<h1>Vinny never stops.</h1>
<h2>He doesn’t stop designing. He doesn’t stop coming up with new ways of presenting his face. And he definitely doesn’t stop posting.</h2>
<p>Some day, I’ll go through all the photos I have of the various Vinnies I’ve seen around Beacon: Skeleton Vinny, Starbucks Vinny, Disney Vinny, Fidel-Castro-at-a-Yankees-Game (???) Vinny. All of them. He warrants a closer, more comprehensive look.</p>
<p>Most of the names I’ve come to recognize around here are notable just for their sheer persistence. They’re everywhere—but it’s the same tag, the same sticker. </p>
<h2>Vinny is notable because his energy doesn’t stop at raw promotion. He doesn’t have one design, he’s got thirty; but they’re all instantly recognizable as his. He’s a brand—probably one of the most innovative street artists I’ve seen working today.</h2>

<h1>I’m a man of microcosms. I don’t do a lot of global traveling; I prefer getting to know the intricacies of one particular space.</h1>
<h2>And most spaces have more intricacy than they’re given credit for. Even the most boring suburb—and I’d know, I grew up in one—has an unusual plant here or there, strange caterpillars, and an otherworldly quality to it if you’re out and about late at night and in the fog.</h2>

<p>What my neighborhood didn’t have much in the way of was any sort of street art. Why would it? It was a community of middle-to-upper-class retirees who were probably barely aware that such a thing existed.</p>
<p>So when I visited cities for the first time, in Europe, the art—mostly graffiti—was one of the first things I noticed. I was obsessed with it. Who were these people who doggedly scrawled their art on walls in the middle of the night? And why was it so haunting? </p>
<h1><em>—</em></h1>
<h1><em>Well—because many of them seemed crazy. And more, because I was the only one who noticed them. It felt like being in on a secret.</em></h1>
<h2>Gradually, I got to recognize the names and drawings that showed up all over Paris, Basel, Cologne. It was almost like recognizing a friend in a crowd; some familiar sign when everything else seemed utterly alien.</h2>
<p>And when I came back to the United States, I took that obsession—and heightened perception—with me. Every time I’m in a city, I pay attention to who’s writing on its walls: who they claim to be, what they’re trying to say.</p>
<h1><em>—</em></h1>
<h2>The world is a little richer than most of us are led to believe. We notice from the earliest age that our curiosity often inconveniences people. After a while, we stop being curious. </h2>
<p>But there’s so much to see. Taking a close look at the city walls around you is like peering into a microscope.</p>
<h1>Look closely.</h1>

<h1>The Tessa Brooks Learning Center</h1>
<p>Bali, Indonesia</p>

<p>Karmagawa is a new social charity community determined to make a better world for people and animals alike. Since 2018, they have donated $6+ million to 65 charities. Their goal is to build 1,000 schools around the world, one community at a time, as children deserve the best education possible as they truly are our future. They fund amazing charities like Bali Children’s Project, a charity that helps children escape poverty through education. </p>
<p>To date, Karmagwa has funded 44 projects in Bali: kickstarting a renovations program, supplying 250 food packages to hungry families during the pandemic, sponsoring children for school and providing transport for children who walk hours to school. </p>

<p>This school created a new world of learning for 200 students on the north coast of Bali. Karmagawa and I transformed an old library into a new learning center, which is now filled with colorful, exciting books for the students.</p>

  <li>Globally, 58% of children and adolescents are not achieving minimum proficiency levels in reading (UNESCO Institute for Statistics). </li>
  <li>Most villagers in rural Bali are farmers and laborers, having little spare income for the village to run their schools. Schools lacked supplies, some young learners have never seen educational toys like wooden blocks and puzzles </li>
  <li>24% of schools worldwide don’t have access to computers</li>
  <li>Most students in rural Bali do not own a quality book at home.</li>
  <li>175 MM children are not enrolled in pre-primary education (UNICEF, 2019).</li>
</ul>

<h2>There was a lot of renovations done to the school that helped make it feel and look so much better. </h2>

<p>
  <h2>Working with kids and helping kids get a better education is something that I’ve always been very passionate about. This is just the beginning of a long journey that I’m very excited about! </h2>
</p>

<p>I hope to partner with Karmagawa again to build more schools and create a better future for more children. </p>

<p>If you haven’t, I recommend you to watch this documentary because the facts are alarming. The documentary’s goal is to help us understand the benefits of eating a plant-based diet.</p>
<p>Would this transition be difficult? YES YES AND YES</p>

<p>I understand that we may have some meat lovers in our community. To be honest, I am not a meat lover myself, but I do enjoy meat on certain occasions. However, if we want to protect our planet, we have to shift our food diet to save our planet.</p>

By shifting from animal to plant-based meat, we can positively impact four growing global issues: human health, climate change, constraints on natural resources, and animal welfare.” (Meat, n.d.)</p>

<p>“A peer-reviewed Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) conducted by the University of Michigan compared the environmental impact of the Beyond Burger to a ¼ lb. U.S. beef burger. The result? <p>This piece of work is the collaborative effort of artists <a href="https://instagram.com/gabe_weis?igshid=at5de0d0f6fd">Gabe Weis</a> and <a href="https://instagram.com/camilleachiang?igshid=lvsdwu12e00k">Camille Chiang</a> . It was made in the physical world and transformed in the digital world. This project started as a portrait by Camille of a boy embracing himself. She painted a boy who is seen as strong and handsome by society but who longs to be held as he looks for safety. Sharing a fragment of herself through her portraits, Camille conveys a strong sense of inward fragility that is only seen in these small moments of silence. Fellow Bay Area artist Gabe Weis, then came in with courage and strength, using his signature bold lines, street art aesthetic and multiple faces to paint a picture of a complex man with boldness and confidence. He turns the boy into a man, and shielded him from his insecurities. The hand that rests on his shoulder is one of comfort, and not of fear. The contrasting emotions create a beautiful story of one personality. The 5th NFT in this series will come with an unlockable that is the original physical painting, which is 30 by 40" and on canvas. May you always understand your complexity and never forget to keep your bold vulnerability.</p>

<p>Grif is a multidisciplinary visual artist and director, whose work spans the spectrum of sculpture, fine art, and moving image. A renowned figure in the design world, Grif's works have been exhibited globally. From his most recent work on Wiz Khalifa's 'Millions' video, to collaborations with Kanye West, Givenchy, Nike, Apple, Adidas, Grif's work always strives to blend the world of physical and digital art. Winner of PRINT magazines New Visual Artist award in 2015, and ADC Young Guns in 2012. His studio and art practice is located in New York City.</p>
<p>A pioneer in the digital art world, <a href="https://instagram.com/justinmaller?igshid=17c083r6ap2pl">Justin Maller</a> has been creating work at the juncture of avant garde and pop culture since the turn of the century. Maller has had a celebrated career pushing the boundaries of the digital medium as an independent artist. Since founding seminal art collective Depthcore in 2002, he has created work for clients including Nike, Gatorade, The Grammys, Dolby, LG, Jordan and Under Armour. Building on this success, Maller’s groundbreaking, year-long project ‘Facets’ forged an iconic brand cemented in his trademark geometric approach. This style has had a visible and lasting influence on visual art practice around the world. This auction is helping to raise money for organisations working on reforestation, empowering women &amp; rebuilding ecosystems, such as our partners @JustDigIt who are doing fantastic work. We went to Kenya last year to see it in action &amp; it was truly incredible.</p>
<p>Although he originally studied and honed his skills in more traditional mediums of art and design, over the last 4 years <a href="https://instagram.com/jhgfx?igshid=3ljh68kzso69">Jordan Harrison</a> (jhgfx) had began to fall into the world of 3D design. Teaching himself how to model, texture and illuminate scenes he starting to create more complex 3D artwork and branch out into motion design. His work is heavily influenced by music, usually taking a single scrap or detail from a project or body of work and creating an entire piece around in. 'The iconic Disclosure face was a perfect illustration to bring into the 3D world. Throughout it's history, usually plastered onto the faces of numerous collaborators, I wanted to add another dimension to the band’s decade old ideogram. Experimenting with perspective and dragging the face into different dimensions in 3D space.'</p>

<p>I chose to use a Sea Turtle in this piece because all seven species are currently threatened or endangered. As with many other endangered species on this earth, it’s mostly because of our own doing. When we protect what we love and respect all living things, we’re able to thrive as a whole and preserve life on this planet for generations to come.</p>

<p>One of the most amazing feelings is to build together, evolve together, and progress - together. Leading by example, Flosstradamus has invented the first digital NFT that will be unlocked by a physical device - a collaborative and authentic experience between himself and his consumers. </p>
<p>Flosstradamus collaborated with Aegis Studio, a blockchain and software development agency and Blunt Action, a multimedia production studio based in NYC to curate this very unique NFT project. Collectively, the team’s goal was to create an immersive experience for the digital landscape to meet the physical world. </p>

<p>As you all know we have our own YouTube channel called Beauty by Mirka. </p>
<p>One of our followers has asked for a wispy set with individual lash extensions instead of Russian volume. </p>
<p>As we are in isolation I was unable to work on a real model but hopefully my tips and tricks will help you to create your own beautiful wispy set or Kim K lashes as some people call it. </p>
<p>I was using our rose gold tweezers curved and straight one. You can purchase them from our website. Click on the link in the picture. </p>
<p>Lashes are from Lashbase 0.07mm C curl 11mm - 15mm  (5 lashes stuck together in rays) and from Oh My Lash 0.15mm C curl (8mm-13mm). </p>
<p>I was using VO1 glue from Eyeluvlashes. </p>

<h1>The edit</h1>
<p>The video should have a perfect balance between information and VFX elements, so that more types of audiences can relate to it and show interest in creating a Magma account.</p>
