    <h1>Grab your high waters&nbsp;</h1>
    <h2>With significant rain fall in the last month the Illinois River has almost broke a record high.&nbsp;</h2>
    <p>Adventure is common in my family however being a morning person is not. I had mentioned to my dad that the river has some cool spots to kayak when the water is a little high. Well with it being up about 20 feet the surrounding wooded areas are all flooded which made for a great 6am kayak session with my dad and our other buddy dave.&nbsp;</p>

    <h1>Bald Eagles are rad &amp; rare</h1>
    <h2>Stalking some wild life while kayaking through the flood waters</h2><p>Bald Eagles are native to Illinois but I’m not used to seeing them up close. I’m used to only seeing them catching fish in the frozen Illinois river but this time I got to kayak around just below them in the trees. This particular one made eye contact several times but didn’t seem to concerned with some early morning kayakers down below.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Photo doesn’t do them justice they are very large majestic birds.&nbsp;</p>
