Morning Routine Essentials

After travel it is essential I slowly ease back into my morning routine to remain balanced especially during the winter months. As someone who suffers from insomnia, having a morning routine I can look forward to is super important for me. I hope you can draw inspiration my routine! My ideal time to wake up each morning is 6:30am. I typically start my day with coffee or tea at 9:30am but here’s a list of everything I do in between.

I start each morning with light therapy. This is my way of signaling to my brain it is time to wake up.

Next I begin to fill my room with amazing uplifting scents like lemon grass. I find aroma therapy to be extremely healing.

Hydration is essential.

On slow morning I typically opt for hydrant. If I anticipate an extremely busy day I will reach for a protein ball and ginger shot.

I typically wake up with a lengthy to do list. Each card has a beautiful message to remind me to remain present. Affirmations are grounding.
