Circle

<p>We started our party project called Laundry Service in 2018. When we moved to the current location (Circle Milano) we saw that the pictures shot with a normal digital reflex were so boring and mainstream.</p>
<p>We decide to start to take pictures with some compact Point &amp; Shoot cameras from the late 90’s.</p>

<p>The film photos have some imperfections that make every single shot unique.</p>
<p>The grain and the color tones are typical of the analog photograpy.</p>
<p>We made every shot behind the console while we’re playing.</p>

<p>From September 2022 we made a partership with one of the most famous photography shop in Milan: Foto Cavour.</p>
<p>We made a corner in EST Shop with single use cameras, Fujifilm and Kodak Rolls.</p>

<h1>Laundry Service on Instagram</h1>
<p>We started to post pics on the Instagram Stories of @estworld account.</p>
<p>In Septemer 2022, after a rebranding of the logo, we launched the instagram profile because it was a shame thet these nice pictures were online only for 24h</p>
<p>The concept is simple, the profile would like to be a camera roll of the party, we post sometimes, only the best pics.</p>

<p>My favourite time of the year. It’s always beautiful seeing everyone get together and having a great time. We all get so caught up in our everyday lives, we need to remember to spend some time with the important people we have around us, disconnect from social media and our phones and have a little break.</p>
<p>My boyfriend and I went on a trip to the Christmas Market. Although it was freezing cold outside, walking around was definitely worth it! All the food choices, the lights, the Christmas music, it was an amazing atmosphere. It makes you forget about everything else and live in the moment.</p>

<p><strong>Okinawa - Vol. II / <em>travel</em> <em>diary</em></strong></p>
<p>Là, nous étions tout simplement en train de se balader le long de la côte ouest, empruntant cette unique route, tant agréable. Nous avions quelques spots précis à aller découvrir, mais il nous suffisait de se promener et de s'arrêter quand on le souhaitait ou au niveau des points de vue indiqués sur la route. Au final, il était assez simple de trouver des choses intéressantes à voir. (Même si, avant de partir, nous avions pointé sur une carte tous les spots à explorer). Playlist en fond, fenêtres ouvertes et les cheveux quasiment au vent, nous nous laissions bercer par ce lacet et ces paysages qui défilaient devant nos yeux. Enfin bref, nous étions libres et profitions de chaque instant. On s'est donc arrêter pour faire un petit plouf et nager au milieu des coraux ! Les vacances commençaient réellement et ce n'était que le début... </p>

<p>Le deuxième spot aura été la cascade de Todoroki. Mais, un peu déçu de l'aménagement à la japonaise.. sécurité avant tout. ... Bref, des paysages complètement dingues. Mais celui qui m'aura le plus marqué est ce petit cabanon abandonné en haut de cette falaise. Il y a eu cette expérience intense d'un moment, le sentiment d'être complètement entre les mains du temps, sentiment qui parait libre de passé ou d'avenir. A ce moment-là, j'étais complètement absorbé, plongé dans l'émerveillement, mais surtout envouté par le charme de ce qui se trouvait devant mes yeux. Courir au milieu de ces hautes herbes, et contempler les couleurs du soleil qui rejoignait peu à peu l'horizon. Je crois que j'y ai laissé une partie de moi…</p>

<p>Okinawa, Vol. I / travel diary</p>
<p>Déjà trois mois se sont écoulés depuis mon arrivée au pays du soleil levant, et d'aller de péripéties en péripéties, on ne voit plus le temps qui passe. Après un Noël qui n'en était pas réellement un, il était grand temps de marquer une pause. Direction le soleil, l'eau turquoise et les plages de sable blanc. Les choses ne se sont pas tout à fait déroulées comme prévu…</p>

<p>Ca y est, nous y sommes ! La chaleur et l'humidité nous collent à la peau. Mais je savais qu'il me manquait quelque chose. D'après toutes nos sources, le meilleur moyen de découvrir l'ile n'était autre que la voiture. Et stupide comme je peux l'être parfois, j'avais oublié mon permis japonais... étant le seul à pouvoir conduire, tout reposait sur ce foutu papier que j'avais, mais complètement, oublié ! J'ai donc passé ma première après-midi à le refaire, essayant de corriger mon insouciance.. Bon d'accord, mais où sommes-nous ? Nous venions d'atterrir à l'aéroport de Naha, capitale de l'archipel d'Okinawa, un ensemble d'îles subtropicales au sud du Japon. ... De bon matin, nous récupérions les clés du bolide et direction le nord pour échapper à la ville et se perdre dans les paysages sauvages. Le premier stop sera le Cap Manzamo. Un endroit magique où seules les lois de la nature règnent. Mais sortez des sentiers au risque de ne pas vous perdre dans cette nature crue et inhospitalière. Attention aux éclaboussures !</p>

<p>New York City comprises 5 boroughs sitting where the Hudson River meets the Atlantic Ocean. At its core is Manhattan, a densely populated borough that’s among the world’s major commercial, financial and cultural centers. Its iconic sites include skyscrapers such as the Empire State Building and sprawling Central Park. Broadway theater is staged in neon-lit Times Square.</p>

<h1>I’ve always liked taking photos of small creatures. I don’t think insects are appreciated enough.</h1>
<h1>This is something I learned from my mom. </h1>
<h2>My mom is a biologist: raised on a farm in New Jersey, got a PhD in chemistry at Harvard, spends a lot of her time these days trying to explain to local politicians why building developments on the town water supply might have an impact on water quality. </h2>
<h2>She also loves bugs. Other kids’ mothers thought they were anywhere between a nuisance and a menace; my mom couldn’t wait to get them under a microscope.</h2>

<p>
  <h1>Bugs are endlessly diverse and endlessly fascinating. I like taking photos of them because these images capture details that most of us never get close enough to see.</h1>

<p>If you’re looking for a chic desert escape for a large group, this is your spot. With 6 bedrooms, a massive deck nestled in the rocks, a soaking pool and a hot tub, fire pit AND a hell of a view. Located in a neighborhood central to Yucca Valley and Pioneertown. Another J-Tree gem. </p>

<h1><em>LE CHACUEL</em></h1>
<p>While it’s been a while since we stayed at this property, I can’t not mention it in the context of sharing beautiful Joshua Tree homes. I’m not sure I’ve ever stayed in such a design forward space before, to the point that the most mundane household objects were somehow works of art in their own right. There isn’t a corner of this home that isn’t art. Plus, that saltwater pool with those views are hard to beat. </p>

<p>In July of this year I had the opportunity to go to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to shoot my debut swimwear collection of HEROWN, the brand I recently launched, for a feature in Modeliste Magazine. But wait, it gets better. Not only did I get to shoot for Modeliste Magazine in my designs, I got to shoot alongside some of my best friends, also donning my designs. <em>Pinch me.</em> So I figured for my very first Mag, I should pay homage to these incredible photos of my incredible friends, taken in Cabo by Emma Bassil (she’s also incredible). </p>
