Portugal

I enter a meditative state as I watch the giant waves crash onto the cliffs in front of me, one by one, each new set arriving on shore like clockwork. It is my third day visiting Portugal and although it is October already, the sun is beating down on me, not yet ready to let fall take over.
A voice behind me pulls me out of my daydreaming. An elderly lady approaches me from a few metres behind, accompanied by a gentle golden retriever.
In a Portuguese accent, she chuckles: “Oh Lord, that surfer out there! The conditions today are really not ideal.” “Oh...”, I start mumbling, unsure what to respond, trying to find the tiny dot of a surfer she has spotted in the distance.
Her facial expressions soften: “Oh well.. Don’t worry about him. Somehow they always turn out fine! It’s the thrill for them, you know? My husband used to go out there all the time.” She tells me they have always lived close to the beach here in the small town of Aljezur, appreciating the slow pace of life with their dog Leila.

Again, I think to myself how beautifully welcoming and warm the Portuguese people have been so far. She asks me whether it is my first time in Portugal and I tell her about my recent journey and stay in Albufeira. She gently rolls her eyes at me: “So you are visiting the South Algarve then?”

“Yes,” I respond, slightly taken aback by her straightforwardness, “the South has long been on my list of places to visit, but this beach was recommended to me and I had some spare time.” I try to read her mind.

She nods slowly. A few moments later, she turns towards me and gives me a soft pat on my shoulder: “Well I’m so glad we met - we don’t see as many people from abroad here on the West Coast. Everyone always flocks to the South Algarve, which makes sense of course! The water is a lot better for swimming.” I look at her as she hesitates. “But...?”

“Well...” she continues, “this right here is Portugal, you know? The endlessly wide beaches. The coastlines with not a single soul in sight at times. I think it’s the more spiritual, more serene side of Portugal, which most people don’t see. Anyway, have a lovely time, my dear!”
I watch as the lady walks back up the stairs to the car park of Praia da Amoreira, quickly vanishing behind a large truck.
I turn around and look at the beach spreading out before me. Upon my arrival in Portugal, I hired a car at Faro airport and had planned to spend my time exploring the south of the Algarve only. Driven by promising pictures of the Benagil Caves and the stunning rock formations of Ponta da Piedade, I knew this was where I wanted to make use of my valuable time.
But what the lady had just mentioned had struck a chord with me. After two days of covering most things that had been on my list, I had already grown somewhat tired of following the beaten path, ticking off classic ‘bucket-list’ experiences. I craved something.. well.. LESS advertised.

Back at my rental, I decide to bury my initial plans. I pull up Google Maps on my phone, determined to make the most out of my three remaining days. Inspired by our warm encounter, I drive up to the centre of Aljezur, a small coastal town characterised by its Moorish castle, built in 10th century.

I notice a small café on the side of a street made of cobblestones and decide to sit down for a bit. The owner of the café, who is about my age, brings me a mouth-watering waffle garnished with fresh fruit. He tells me he’s been living in Aljezur for most of his adult life and thinks it is the most charming spot in the whole country.

Back at the hotel after a 1.5-hour drive, I let the memories of the day settle, grateful for the lady’s nudge to rethink my itinerary.
In the morning, I pack some lunch after breakfast and to my delight, the hotel owner hands me two traditional Pastel de Nata to enjoy on my drive back to the west coast. I devour them before I‘ve even started the engine.

I arrive at the Praia da Bordeira car park just after lunch. I press my entire body against the car's door as the ferocious winds are trying hard to keep me inside the vehicle. Looking around, rugged limestone cliffs rise to my left and right, leaving me wondering how far I still am from the actual beach.
I hurry to keep pace with a group of people in front of me, making their way to the beach, jumping over what seems to be a shallow lagoon. As I learn from the group, walking up to the Praia da Bordeira inevitably leads you along this small river bordering the beach of Bordeira (the Ribeira da Bordeira), ultimately ending up in the ocean.

I climb up the wooden stairs on the left side of the bay and am rewarded with an astounding view of the almost three-kilometre-long beach. Above our heads, seagulls are circling, waiting for the perfect opportunity to secure some leftovers.

The day before my return flight, I set off from Faro to one last stop on the West Coast. I can’t help but appreciate the smaller size of the country, making the drive between the South Algarve and the West Coast just two hours long.

I take a long last walk on the golden sands of the Praia do Castelejo, waiting for the sun to slowly set down on us. I go back to the car and drive up the mountains, back to the main road.
But instead of turning left to the motorway, I leave the village of Vila do Bispo behind me and cautiously make my way up the gravel road to Torre de Aspa. For a moment, I doubt my rental’s capacity to make it without popping a tyre, but eventually, I arrive at the highlight of my 6-day trip.
I am able to park the car close to the cliff’s edge, my eyes already running wild in both directions of the lookout, trying to grasp the immensity of what lies before me. It is surprisingly calm and the roaring ocean below looks entirely peaceful and quiet from up here.
I watch the colours of the sky turn blue as the sun sets over this slice of Portuguese West Coast, only to rise again in the morning.

As I make my way back to the airport in Faro on the day after, I feel a sense of calm. I can’t help but wonder what the lady I had met had thought of our conversation after we parted ways. A wave of gratitude washes over me.

As the plane touches down in London, I overhear a friendly, elderly man sitting in the row behind me say to his wife: “What a beautiful holiday! The South is just the absolute best Portugal has to offer.” I look out of the plane window at the tarmac, subtly rolling my eyes, smiling to myself.

Tips for visiting the Algarve and the South West
West Coast Beaches:
While the beaches of the South Algarve - with their golden sand and cove-like shapes - are among the most popular ones in Portugal for swimming and family holidays, the West Coast is not only a paradise for surfers of all levels, but a not-to-miss destination for travellers who rather enjoy going off the grid.
Endless beaches backed by dramatic cliffs and sand dunes invite visitors to get lost in the freeing feeling the West Coast conveys, and to appreciate life as nature serves as a gentle reminder to stay present.
The best West Coast beaches for travellers:

What you need to know:
Getting here: To explore the West Coast, you can best fly into Faro Airport. Alternatively, travellers can fly to Lisbon and go down south.
Getting around: If you want to explore flexibly, renting a car is definitely the easiest way to do so. Beware of toll fees though! Portugal has a toll road system and fees need to be paid before leaving the country. The public transport network will connect you to the major cities and special bus shuttles can get you to remote locations too.
Your stay: The Algarve offers lovely hotels and charming AirBnBs. If you can get around easily, you can essentially stay anywhere. Make sure to book in advance!
Highlights: If you travel by car, stop at one of the iconic ceramics warehouses. Pottery and ceramics is a typically Portuguese craft and you might find some pieces to take home with you as keepsakes.

In the start of my career, I realized that the easiest thing for me to have done was to simple show up. In this line of work, Although aesthetics matter, but being in the right places at the right time makes a difference as well. There’s no Play by play way to success except for having a strong vision, focus and a will to succeed. 
Throughout the years you’ll learn where you go wrong and it’s usually simple adjustments from there, unless it’s a major mess that only ‘Olivia Pope’ can fix, then that’s where myself and a few of my peers would come in to assist. 
Pure intentions will always get you to where you need to be in this industry, but play well. Be smart always. Listening is the main objective because 95% of the time, listening is what helps give room to solution.

How Much is Too much? 
The Hardest part of being a business owner is that of money. The basis, the start, the end or beginning of business is money. Business is the most easiest yet difficult industry to be in at times due to cost, and unpredictable demands if missed. The question of BALANCE! According to quality; If there’s a product you can offer that is in season or If there’s a product that you cannot offer due to having lack of access or the ability to provide the demand. Theses are one of a few to the many MAIN issues that comes with Business. 
A Budget. 
Sometimes it’s just as simple as that, once you have a budget that is approximate or spot on, believe me when I say that your well ahead of where you need to be. 

A good friend of mines taught me this one lesson earlier on in my career; if you can challenge yourself to not spend and make back in one day two or three times the amount you intended to start your day off with…By the end of the month you’ll be happy with your profits.

New Technology 
Spark your interest in modern ways to keep your business going!

As for my industry, I deal with music, creatives and art enthusiasts, but over all business owners who also have an interest in technology. So there’s ALWAYS a need to stay on top of new technology. A lot of businesses such as Fortune 500 companies and large firms have different systems that have been put into place since the beginning of the prehistoric ages, Not to knock history and systems passed down from family businesses. So naturally it’s imperative that they invest thousands to millions of dollars into software that will aid in the advancement of there companies brand. In the past couple of years the introduction of AI and Chat GPT, self coding apps and more has brought about so much change, relevance and a level of convenience￼ to aid entrepreneurs as well as businesses to better their dynamics within the company. 5 years ago, a group of well known business owners pressed the issue of learning a skill that involves infallible tech skills before the pandemic of 2020, either it be a certification or something as simple as creating an app to funnel your sales results. A few of my clients tried this method and it worked well.

One of my favorite, yet most difficult forms of new technology at the moment is Artificial Intelligence. For one of many reasons, but one…it’s NEW. Although it’s been made accessible to consumers at levels it frustrates me at times only for simple reasons as there’s so much that can be done within that field, such a large space to create. Those are the skills it takes sometimes to advance. I wouldn’t be a consultant if I didn’t leave references to help better your strategies. But as for new Technology, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Julian Stephoni, a well known, Portland, Oregon based musician, has perfected his performance as a Prince impersonator with his tribute band, JRide. 
Over the years, he has wowed crowds and even Prince himself, once thanked him and brought him onstage.!

I first witnessed Julian at a performance and was amazed at how his stage presence almost perfectly matched Prince! 
After his show we talked a bit. Easy going and funny, we had a great conversation about our connection to Prince.

The counsulting is about the digital strategy of the Instagram and Linkedin profile.

From 2021 the profile earned more than 7.000 followers and also reach and engagement grew a lot.

We started our party project called Laundry Service in 2018. When we moved to the current location (Circle Milano) we saw that the pictures shot with a normal digital reflex were so boring and mainstream.
We decide to start to take pictures with some compact Point &amp; Shoot cameras from the late 90’s.

The film photos have some imperfections that make every single shot unique.
The grain and the color tones are typical of the analog photograpy.
We made every shot behind the console while we’re playing.

From September 2022 we made a partership with one of the most famous photography shop in Milan: Foto Cavour.
We made a corner in EST Shop with single use cameras, Fujifilm and Kodak Rolls.

We started to post pics on the Instagram Stories of @estworld account.
In Septemer 2022, after a rebranding of the logo, we launched the instagram profile because it was a shame thet these nice pictures were online only for 24h
The concept is simple, the profile would like to be a camera roll of the party, we post sometimes, only the best pics.

The Haunting


I was traveling down the street to my alma mater. It was a school that had now been destroyed by the tsunami. The library windows were shattered and things were torn to pieces. I was pleased to see that efforts were in effect to restore the library and a clean-up process had begun. Dad had his shot gun and mom was in the passenger seat. There was a historical archeological cave close by that has been closed to access by raiders and such. But, I being a former student knew another way of entrance. The path was narrow and it was pitch-black outside. On each side of the passage there were cut-offs. If you fell then there is no telling how far you’d drop until you ultimately faced your death. As we were accessing the alternate path, I peered over the edge. It was as if it was eternal abyss. It gave me chills up and down my spine. “There! I think I found what we’re looking for!” My father shouted as he hopped off the ledge onto another to hack into the wall. We were searching for something that only a few individuals knew about. Myself, in particular knew of hidden treasures and others only thought there were bones of ancient civilizations.
I sat my pack down on a 2-feet boulder and then I saw through the boards that were placed to deter anyone from entering, light peeking through. I heard a group of people chattering.
My dad looked at my mother and I and motioned us to hide. He pulled out his shot gun and waited. As I tip-toed to duck behind wreckage from a previous cave-in I remembered I had a hand gun in my pack. It was too late. I was shaking there crouched and sweating from being scared we were going to be killed.
As the infiltration closed in on us, one noticed my pack. “What do we have here, eh? A compass, a hand gun, water cantons and oh... a map.” said the man.
“A map? What would someone need a map for? There is nothing in here?” asked another. “This map says there is gold. But why? Let’s find these explorers who are in classified territory! They haven’t a right to be in here! Let’s kill them!” Exclaimed the third man.
I mustered up all the strength I had in me and I pushed them off into the chasms, one after another.
My parents were no where as I went insane. No way they would take our map, our gold or our lives!!!
As I watched their bodies disappear into the darkness off the edges, I heard a guttural scream that resounded into the depths of ever nook and cranny. I looked behind me and up in the air was a figure floating and flying right towards me. I heard momma scream, “ Run! Run with everything you’ve got!”
I ran down the narrow path in hopes to not fall into the pits on both sides then I saw the ghostly figure prevailing before me as it was gliding on out of the cave.
I came to a sudden halt.
Once again I reentered the waking world. It was just a dream. I’m safe.

The drops pounded onto the windowsill. Ever since last summer the window has leaked. With the blackness of the night sky, the lightning would rage out against it. I focused on trying to rest but the reverberating thunder boomed at the glass. Another night without rest. This insomnia has flourished in a way I wouldn’t consider inspiring. Nevertheless, I still seem to acquire strength to get through the blazing summer heat. Eventually I must get up from this bed and do something to occupy this analytical mind of mine. But how? The thoughts race and the emotions linger.
My being is desolate from social interaction that would traditionally over-stimulate my nervous system. I have thought of going on a journey to the lake cabin my father owned once again, then I sip my chai tea and watch the grass and flowers wither in the fire of the sun. I have pondered many times if my brother or sister will ever visit. But then I bear in mind that we made ourselves estranged to one another. I’d like to envision that they haven't forgotten my name. But alas, I was the youngest child and they expressed to me that I was the idolized extension to the family. Yet, sissy and brother were held in high regards to those who knew us. I was the destruction of this family. The dysfunctional child whom everyone was repulsed by. To say the least, I’d like to think, I was the one who questioned parliament and societal paradigms . Furthermore, I was the individual perceived as an outsider, as if I had been switched at birth.
The thunder clapped against the thick air wall of humidity. When will my life of savage conditions ever ease up? Oh, to see all things for what they are and still be deserted. I have lived in this one-hundred-year-old house since my parents passed away in 1921. I miss them profoundly but yet since the passed on it has been a life of solitude and natural peace for my soul. I still think of the fond memories I retain of them.
A clearing began in the shattered sky as I glared out the window that began to fog from my breath. It had seemed as if another scorching day was on the brink of existing. I held a feeling of unspeakable remorse for the thought of sweating in the vegetable garden. The tomatoes have sweltered for the billionth time. I go out and skulk at them as I pick them off the vine and toss them aside. “Good grief!” I shouted at the ravens in the oak tree, as they begun to fly off. Will I ever be able to become something other than an old man sitting in his rocking chair on the cobble stones outside of his dilapidated house?
Then I saw upon the road leading to the town nearby, a horse and wagon with a man and woman. Who could be coming to view my devastating home or my pitiful existence? As they enclosed the vicinity, I could see who the elderly man and woman were. “Joseph? Marilynn? Is that you? Why are you here? What do you want?” I questioned the couple approaching.
Then I heard the distinct voice of my older brother Joseph ran out and landed into my ear, “Matt, it is Mary and me. We’ve come to take you away from this disconsolate abode of yours.” Marilynn interjected, “Matthew, dear, you are coming with us. Prepare your belongings.”
My eyes flooded with the salty tears as I said to them, “What do you mean? It’s been... It’s been centuries it seems since I have seen you two? Why are you here really? Do you want to lock me away again? If that is what you’ve arranged, then I’ll take care of that right now! You, see? I am not going back to that pit of despair with you! I am fulfilled here! You see my gardens?”
As I ran in to get something to defend myself with, I heard another abrupt sound off in the distance. I geared my eyes towards the road to see the authorities coming to capture me. Was this in all in head again? The horror I experienced made me think they had finally left me alone. But not for a chance. I’ve been set aside to suffer because I challenged the world and its ideologies.
“Matthew, please, don’t hide from us again. We will find where you are, just like every other time. You have nowhere to go, and we know what you have done to mom and dad.” Marilynn tried to coerce me to come out so they can bind me for life until my death would be declared to the entire countryside. They had me in their clutches once again and I was desperate to do anything, but what could I do this time? With exasperation all over my face I came out of the pantry where undoubtedly there wasn’t any food. This was my fate, my destiny, and I had no other choice but to go with them and face the gloom that I became aware was filling my spirit. “Matt, when we discovered what you did to them, we came immediately. Do you even realize what you’ve done? You are a murderer! We were astonished at this tragedy, but we had an inkling since you were the only one within the home where they laid covered in their own...” Jospeh was speaking but I interrupted, “I didn’t do a thing to them. I treasured them and yet I was insignificant to all! How could you think... How can I be the one to be victimized by your own deeds, brother?”
“Matthew, it was you and don’t be in denial because of your hysteria!” Marilynn was relentless and her voice put a fear in me I had never imagined occurring. The ideas bulged in my brain, and I couldn’t bear the thought of ending the precious lives of mom and dad. I wouldn’t hurt a fly, but yet here they were with the accusations that made me question my memories and reality. Oh, clouds that cleared the sky, I had a hope that happiness would come but once again I am in chains.
The authority came and took me by rope around my wrists and I was boosted into the cage I was once in of historical circumstances. The uneven road seemed increasingly extensive than I had contemplated. My thoughts begin to swamp my psyche and I erupted into trembling.

Chapter Two: Journey to Confinement

Encaged and roped at the wrists I begin to drift into a potent feeling of misery. My heart was shrinking in my body and I began to think, “Is this going to be foreshadowing my imprisonment for the volatile transgressions I never committed?
“Come here, you scum!” the guard shouted at me as he drug me out of the iron clad cage. “We are taking you somewhere you can’t hurt anyone again.”
I began to groan and cry out “Joseph, Marilynn, you know I never hurt mom and dad!!! Stop this! Stop what you are doing!”

I was riding with Pops on highway 73 with the wind in my hair. I had my arm out the window and my hand was biting the air. I remember when times were peaceful and carefree like this. It was 75°F outside and I felt as if nothing could go awry. That’s when we hit something that flew out of nowhere. The fragile little car flew into the ditch on the side of the highway and my life was flashing before my eyes. What I didn’t configure at the time was that my pop’s life was being decimated at that very moment. The vehicle came to a halt, and I peered over to see Pops evaporate before my 7-year-old deep blue eyes. I ejected my seatbelt and managed to climb out only to collapse onto the muddy ground.
I turned around to capture the wreckage behind us as I witnessed something that appeared to be a puppet. What was a puppet doing in the devastation and why was it running for its life? I couldn’t fathom why a puppet was at the scene nor could I grasp why it was running! Puppets aren't alive and I thought I knew what I had heard about them. They are material objects and are playthings for children and such. Right? Perhaps I was hallucinating from being in shock.
Swiftly, emergency medical services arrived, and I witnessed the paramedics and firefighters struggle to get my pops out of that demolished miniscule car. I couldn’t utter with my mind what had just occurred and why was there a puppet fleeing like his life depended upon it? My memory was faltering more so over time.
I continued to see this puppet as I grew into my 20-year-old self. He would crop up in cafes and movie theaters. My life came near to an end, more than just that Sunday afternoon on highway 73 with Pops. I seemed as if I was headed for death, but I couldn’t figure out why. But each time I got close to being sent to the afterworld, I would capture that goofy puppet right after I would get off my face and wipe the sweat and dirt off of my forehead.
Now I was on an assignment to muster up courage to entrap said puppet. I remembered his eyes and how they bulged out of his fuzzy, wool head. And how the yarn for hair was a bright neon green. His apparel was like he was a walking anachronism. Suspicious to say the least, in my honest opinion. However, I could never recollect why this puppet emerged after every near-to-death event of my life. I named this puppet a name I could identify with: Mr. Quiggley. It seemed like a good name for something or someone I had so many inquiries about.
I went to the local sporting goods market on the corner of 50th and Squishire. I bought myself binoculars and other useful items such as a pocketknife, magnifying glass, and hiking boots. Now that I think about it, I didn’t require the hiking boots for this mission but regardless, they were on clearance, and I thought it a steal!
I was in pursuit. Sitting in my pick-up truck on the street of Mourforth on the west side of town. This was a particular location where I seemed to be targeted the most. In fact, the local town construction still didn’t repair the concrete curb that I rammed into with my last vehicle. It was initially annihilated seeing as they made everything in this town with frugality.
Then instantaneously, Mr. Quiggley was in proximity. His beady eyes were fixated on me. He knew I had my eyes pinned on him as well. He began to shriek! Once again, he fled the area. Only this time, a man who looked to be my age was following after him and he had a peculiar weapon in his right hand. They flung themselves onto a motorbike and rode off into the distance.
Alright, what had just occurred? Who was this man? He looked bizarrely familiar to my young 5-year-old self. His eyes were a hazel-green, that is if I can recollect well enough. He was wearing a black leather jacket and pale tight-fitted jeans. At the moment, this was all I could remember.
The journey continued in search of these indisputable criminals. I knew from the moment I spotted the weapon in his hand that he was an enemy. But what had I done to him, or this frenzied puppet? After the first traumatic collision with Pops my mind would black out and I would space. Everything before that event is fuzzy at even spectacular moments.
After Mr. Quiggley and his accomplice jot off on the motor bike, I jumped out of the pick-up and went into the ally they emersed out of. Then there it was, a wallet lying on the asphalt. I had their identity in my grasp at this point. I unfolded the worn black canvas pocketbook and to my surprise and confusion it was my kindergarten rival, James Markey. The memories flooded my mind as I dropped to my knees and began to weep. One memory in particular I remember socking James's right in the left eye and his glasses broke and the glass punctured his eyebrow. Now it made sense why he was there with Mr. Quiggley. But why was this mysterious puppet with my kindergarten target of all my incessant bullying? I felt grief for the puppet, and I was determined to find out the answers to my every question.
I thought about James that night and I knew that I was his adult hood prey. He obviously had a vendetta out for me after I belittled him every day at school. But what could drive someone to destroy another human or employ a puppet to be their partner in crime? It seemed as if Mr. Quiggley was being used by James to do his evil bidding.
My quest had changed at that point in time once I came to this revelation. My new assignment: avail Mr. Quiggley from the wicked clutches of James Markey. I know after I free the melancholy puppet from James that I would be greeting an even more excruciating death wish. But I was determined. Mr. Quiggley was being tortured to perform such perfected schemes. I had to do something and something quick.
The next morning at 0700 hours I was wide awake after the alarm buzzed throughout my flat. I combed my hair and put on my over coat and went out the door. I walked to the thrift shop to buy myself an undercover outfit. I was walking where I was going now as I feared getting into any sort of machinery.
The thrift shop had just what I needed. The black ninja look arose into the moment as I stood there in the fitting room in my black sweats and black stocking cap. Then there they were! The black sunglasses without a scratch on them. They were mine!
I smiled as I exited the building with my new-found disguise. It was an adrenaline rush to buy things that were necessary to keep me safe and concealed. I was into success, and I could feel it. Would I receive an award or a trophy? Nah, most likely I would not but it was a glorious sentiment. Right?
It was 2100 hours on McFeary Street. I was camped beside the dumpsters, and it wasn’t a refined position to say the least. The Chinese restaurant’s back door kept slamming open against the brick wall and the chef threw out customers leftovers into the dumpster. I have to admit, the aroma made my stomach rumble. I hadn’t had a bite to eat since that morning, but I was relentless. I wasn’t giving up on what I was meant for. But the thought of injecting Chinese noodles and beef made my mouth salivate. No! Resist Michael! You can do this!
Then there they both were. Mr. Quiggley’s beady eyes and James in that torn leather jacket. They were walking down the sidewalk. I knew James had it out for me and was in search of slaughtering me by another turbulent attempt at destruction. “Not this time James!”, I shouted in my thoughts.
I picked myself up off the ground and jotted behind them as a discreet spy like I had seen in movies. I was close behind them both and they turned into a corridor on the left. It was getting easier to pick up their scent. I felt like a wolf in the wilderness searching for its next meal to devour. Then I shifted my focus into getting Mr. Quiggley into his liberation. The view I had of myself as a wolf then transitioned into a detective searching for a young child in the hands of a kidnapper. I was going to be a hero, wasn’t I? Or was I setting myself up for impending doom? At any rate I was still doing what I set out for.
It just so happened that it began to storm. The wind was rushing into my face and the temperature was dropping. I had to find shelter but was this all a set up? Did James lure me into this? Did he know that the weather would get me spooked? I had a gut feeling that this was all a deviated plan. He knew I was onto them, didn’t he?
I became more aware to me that he was a master at this, although I was still alive and breathing. Considering he hadn't achieved his desire to eradicate me, there may be a shred of hope. I was resilient now, wasn’t I?
I hadn’t scoped out the notorious motor bike as of yet, but I had a feeling it would be coming into my view. James would have devised a clever way of escaping once again. I was proportionately dumfounded when James stopped in his tracks and slowly turned around and looked me dead straight in my eyes. I was in for another shock when he shouted at me, “What are you here for? To hit me in my eye again? Well, you little!! I don’t have glasses anymore, you, see? I have sought you out since that day you humiliated me in front of Abby May. I was infatuated with her, and you ruined me for the last time! So, com’on now! Let’s do this right here, right now!”
I stiffened my upper lip and sweat dripped and clanged to my brow. I squinted my eyes and said to him with all fiber in my being, “You let Mr. Quiggley go! He doesn’t want to do your disgraceful injunctions anymore! Let him go! He’s innocent! You’ve made him your clown!”
James looked at me puzzled now and asked me, “Who is Mr. Quiggley? This is George, my best friend since I was 3 years old. My mum gave him to me after I turned 2-years-old. He is all I’ve ever had after my mum and dad died in a dispute over my uncle. I was detrimental to me since then. Please...”
I stopped him before he could continue, “James, are you all alone without, uhm, George?”
“Well, I guess so.”
I persisted, “Why have you been using, uhm, George to get to me and murder me?”
He began to stutter, “You, you, ruined my life! I was getting to know Abby May and she liked me. I think, uh, uh, please, I need George.”
Then I made an offer to James and George that I never thought I could muster up, “James, how ‘bout you and George come and stay the night in my flat and I will prepare a meal for you. It’s okay, I am not going to sock you upside your eye again, ha. Come now.”
James and George looked at each other perplexed but they shrugged their shoulders, and we walked in the dreary rain to my flat to begin a friendship that would last the rest of our lives.

He requested my presence at some Airbnb he had rented for the next few days and sis made a run for it like Gabrielle in the olympics. Fixed dinner cleaned the house washed clothes and worked my shift before packing my bags. Hell my children are 17 and 10 within the privacy of our own home so I dipped. Via route 1 and 113 I make it to the house and little after midnight yet before quarter after.

Excited for my arrival said in the calls yet the lack of movement he displayed with assistance of my bags was in the negative, dude didn’t lift A finger until I lift my wrist as I made a signal for him to grab this. Hell I could have waited until the morning for this type of treatment, at least by then I would have had myself entirely together and not half ass. Either way I was there and no turning back at least not for the night. He showed me to the room and unbeknownst to me we had our own private bathroom which was a pleasant surprise.

As I begin to unpack my things I grab my phone to check the alert that had came through while I was trying to find the house. The text tore through me like a Vulture on dead flesh my eyes immediately filled with tears, my heart with grief and my lungs with cries. Once the sound pierced my ears I snapped back and closed my mouth, didn’t help as the moaning was a sound as well.

Aunt Anera had passed away. My heart was hurting. Good thing for the bathroom I reached for my towel rag and soap and made my way to the shower. Felt like it took me forever to get there. I held the towel to my mouth to muffle the cries. I started to rethink all over again, why I was there.

 I opened my eyes and there you laid directly next to me eyes shut in the most relaxed state. You looked peaceful, I tried not to bother you although my love language got the best of me. You opened your eyes and I asked how you got into my home. You opened the door for me when I called he said. I leaned down to kiss your lips and the universe exploded. There were stars and fairy dust all over. Every action that came to follow my body had been yearning for. We touched, kissed and orgasmed our way to ecstasy and you stayed the course. “I know you missed this dick” you whispered as I mounted you trying to insert that dick in me as you simultaneously flipped me and without a try inserted me. My back arched instantly even from the missionary position we were in. We jumped around on that bed for hours or what seemed to be. when I woke up it was only me, no signs or traces that you had ever been there, we were in another realm making each other holler😩
